Do you have a child with SENs and Autism? Let me know how to design better support for your family

Very nice meeting you all. My name is Julia Font and I'm a London-based psychologist specialised in SENs and ASD. As part of my final project, I am studying how parents of children with an ASD diagnosis have been coping during lockdowns and which coping strategies have you used the most. It has been suggested that some coping styles are more beneficial than others in helping the family's wellbeing and reducing distress.

The study is being supervised by Dr Charlotte R. Stoner and has been approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the Department of Psychology & Counselling at the University of Greenwich. It is a pleasure to invite all of you (parents) to respond to this short online survey so you can provide us with your insigths and experiences. Your participation is voluntary and your data will remain anonymous.

Your answers will help build evidence on how professionals can design better support to manage daily situations in case future lockdowns take place. Thank you very much in advance and feel free to send me a message if you would like to know more! Julia.
